Club members are invited to visit Denver Water and learn more about the amazing work that it does. Denver Water proudly serves high-quality water and promotes its efficient use to 1.5 million people in the city of Denver and many surrounding suburbs. Established in 1918, the utility is a public agency funded by water rates and new tap fees, not taxes. It is Colorado’s oldest and largest water utility. This meeting will not be available on Zoom. Nature's Fynd is a company that develops microbe-based proteins for meat substitutes and dairy substitutes. The protein is produced by a fungus first identified in geothermal springs in Yellowstone National Park . Cary Connell, a company representative, will talk about the company's ambitions with the support of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. |

Join us at the Historic Dos Chappell Bathhouse on Smith Lake, in Washington Park. We will meet a representative of the Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado. Since 1984, Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) has been motivating and enabling people to become active stewards of Colorado’s natural resources. VOC works with conservation and land agencies and relies on thousands of people annually to provide a volunteer workforce for outdoor stewardship projects.
