A Little Help works with citizens in the elder community to help them addres their challenges. Jake brings over two decades of experience at Graland Country Day School, where he most recently served as a dean and secondary school counselor. This is one of the Club's most popular fundraisers. Woohoomanity Challenge is DMHR's fundraiser bike ride sponsored by Denver Southeast Rotary and piggybacking on the Denver Century Ride. Our team includes four repeat participants: Melanie Gentz, Steve Blazek, Tom Cella, and Marty Waters. Five additional Club members participating this year are Annely Noble, Robin Springer, Charlene Porter, Debra Flick and Margaret VanCliet. Project Worthmore is a local non-profit that focuses on refugees, especially food security. Members of Denver Mile High Rotary volunteer each month with the organization to package and deliver food to refugees. On December 1, 2021 we will visit thier main offices at 1666 Elmira St. in Aurora to learn more about the work that they do. Frank Anello, Executive Director of Project Worthmore, will talk about the history and mission of the organization. Members planning to attend should respond to the email invitation so that sufficient food and coffee will be provided to the attendees/ Note that this program will not be available on Zoom. |

Scott Bemis will discuss NewFreedom, a unique program for reintroducing inmates into society with a 95% success rate. The program is based out of Arizona, but they are considering rolling out a similar program in Colorado. Scott will tell us about the program and why it is so unique and so effective as a model to keep those who have served their time out of the prison system for good. |
